This dynamic area offers something for everyone, whether you're a history enthusiast, a beach lover, or someone looking for a taste of authentic Spanish culture - it has something special for any taste or budget!

Málaga City

As the provincial capital, Málaga City is a cultural and historical gem. The birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the city is home to the Picasso Museum, which showcases many of the artist's works. The Alcazaba, an ancient Moorish fortress, and the nearby Roman Theatre offer glimpses into the city’s rich history. The vibrant streets of Málaga’s historic center are filled with tapas bars, shops, and cafes, making it a lively place to explore.

Manilva

Known for its vineyards and beautiful beaches, Manilva offers a taste of traditional Andalusian life. The town retains its small-town charm, with its rolling landscapes and unspoiled coastline drawing visitors looking for a quieter retreat on the Costa del Sol.

Benalmádena

Comprising three distinct areas—Benalmádena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel, and Benalmádena Costa—this town is diverse in its offerings. The Tivoli World amusement park, Selwo Marina, and the Sea Life Aquarium make it a family-friendly destination. The beautiful Marina and its lively nightlife make Benalmádena a popular spot on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella

Known for its glitzy lifestyle and luxurious resorts, Marbella is a playground for the wealthy and famous. Puerto Banús, with its upscale boutiques, high-end restaurants, and flashy yachts, epitomizes the city’s glamorous appeal. Beyond the glitz, Marbella's charming Old Town, with its narrow streets and vibrant Plaza de los Naranjos, provides a more traditional Andalusian experience.

Ronda

Perched atop a dramatic gorge, Ronda is renowned for its breathtaking vistas and stunning architecture. The Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge that spans the El Tajo gorge, is a remarkable feat of engineering. Ronda's rich history can be explored through its historic bullring and ancient Arab baths, making it a must-visit inland destination.

Torremolinos

One of the first resorts on the Costa del Sol, Torremolinos has long been a favorite among tourists. With its long sandy beaches and thriving nightlife, the town attracts those looking to enjoy the sun and the sea. The recently revitalized city center and La Carihuela, once a small fishing village, now offer a wide range of dining options.

Mijas Pueblo

Set in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, this charming white-washed village retains its traditional Andalusian character. Mijas Pueblo is known for its narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flowers. The village offers stunning views of the coast and is famous for its unique donkey-taxis.

Estepona

Estepona offers a more laid-back and authentic Spanish experience compared to its upscale neighbor, Marbella. Its well-preserved Old Town is adorned with colorful flower pots, and the many murals give the town an artistic vibe. Estepona also boasts beautiful beaches and a serene promenade, perfect for leisurely strolls.

Fuengirola

A quintessential beach town, Fuengirola boasts expansive beaches and a welcoming atmosphere. Its Bioparc, an innovative zoo with natural habitats, and the Sohail Castle, a historic monument overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, are key attractions. The town hosts a vibrant weekly market offering local products and crafts.

Nerja

Famous for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque beaches, Nerja is a coastal jewel. The Nerja Caves, a series of huge caverns featuring impressive stalactites and stalagmites, are a major attraction. The Balcony of Europe, a scenic viewpoint offering sweeping views of the Mediterranean, is a favorite among visitors.
